Description
These numbers 0-20 worksheets and centers give kindergarten students what strong number sense really needs: meeting each number again and again in different ways. Students recognize the numeral, count objects, write the number, read the number word, and show the amount on ten frames, with tally marks, and with dominoes.
When students see the same number as a numeral, a set of objects, a ten frame, and a word, they start to understand what the number means rather than just reciting it. The cutting pages and puzzles add fine motor work, and the subitizing dots on the counting cards help students recognize small amounts at a glance.
It works well for a number of the day routine, small group lessons, math centers, and morning work. Because there are several activity types for each number, you can give one group cut and paste pages while another works with the dough or jellyfish modeling centers, and everyone is still practicing the same number.

WHY YOU’LL LOVE IT
Every number in these numbers 0-20 worksheets has the same set of activity types, so once students learn the routine for one number, they can work on the next one with very little explaining from you.
The range of activities makes it easy to differentiate. Students who need hands-on practice can build numbers with dough or on ten frames, while others move on to number words and color by code.
The posters, number line, and number cards give you a ready reference for the wall or a math folder, and the answer keys make checking quick.
